Howard Properties, Ltd. Represents World's Largest Stone Manufacturer/Distributor in 31, 454 SF Lease

(White Plains, New York, August 31, 2012) Howard E. Greenberg SIOR, President of Howard Properties, Ltd., White Plains, New York, has announced that his firm has represented Cosentino USA in a 31,454 SF lease of showroom and warehouse space at 333 No. Bedford Rd., Mt. Kisco, New York. Jonathan Marwell of the Princeton Realty Group, Mt. Kisco, New York, also participated in the transaction. The 575,000 SF building, a former A & P grocery distribution facility, was purchased and repositioned by Diamond Properties. Its tenants include Grand Prix New York, the Saw Mill River Club and Wine Enthusiast.
Cosentino USA is the largest distributor, fabricator, and installer of stone surfacing and decorative products in North America. It also provides Silestone, marble, granite, soapstone and architectural designs. Its parent company, headquartered in Spain, is the largest manufacturer of natural quartz surfaces in the world, operating six factories, 14 quarries and 17 fabricating factories, with more than 2,100 employees.
The new space will contain a state of the art showroom for stone products and more than 27,000 square feet of product displays under roof. The new Cosentino facility will distribute to stone fabricators, home improvement centers, kitchen and bath specialists, architects and designers from the Mt. Kisco location.
The company sold more than $271 million of quartz surfaces and natural stone in the United States in 2011, and predicts it will sell more than $365 million in 2013. The sales increases are driven by the openings of 10 new Cosentino Centers in San Francisco, San Diego, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Denver, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Orlando, and Portland, Oregon, which will bring the total number of Cosentino Centers in the United States to 22. The company operates 72 centers worldwide.
