MAJOR AWARDS FROM WESTCHESTER’S
LARGEST COMMERCIAL LANDLORD

At the recent Broker Awards Breakfast hosted by Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, Howard E. Greenberg, President of Howard Properties, Ltd. of White Plains, New York, won two of the top awards. Mack-Cali is a leading real estate investment trust (REIT) which owns and manages some 34 million SF of Class A office and flex properties in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

The first award was for Most Leases by a Broker or Firm. Mr. Greenberg won this award for transactions involving Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, SAS Group, Inc. and multiple transactions for the law firm of Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry. He bested brokers from all firms active in Westchester County, including the major multinational brokerage firms.

The second award was for the Largest Office Transaction in 2007. Mr. Greenberg won this award for the 22,531 SF lease expansion and renewal for the law firm of Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry at 7 Skyline Drive in Hawthorne, New York. The firm has been a client of Mr. Greenberg since its founding in 1997, and has grown from a single office of 6,000 SF to more than 30,000 SF in Hawthorne, Edison, New Jersey and Orlando, Florida. This lease was the largest office transaction in the New York/Connecticut region, where Mack-Cali owns and manages more than 7 million SF of space.
