SQUARE FEET FOR ULTRAFABRICS, LLC

Howard Properties, Ltd. has represented Ultrafabrics, LLC in two leases in Tarrytown and Hawthorne, New York. Howard E. Greenberg, President of Howard Properties, served as Exclusive Tenant Representative for Ultrafabrics. These were the fourth and fifth lease transaction in which Howard Properties represented the tenant since 1999.

The first lease was for 12,500 square feet at 303 South Broadway in Tarrytown. The building is owned by Amtrust Realty Corp. This innovatively designed space, overlooking the Hudson River, will serve as a headquarters and showroom for the company.

The second lease was for 16,000 SF of warehouse space at 16 Saw Mill River Road in Hawthorne, New York. This will serve as Ultrafabrics warehouse and distribution facility. The building is owned by California Closets.

Ultrafabrics products are part of a new generation of technologically advanced, polyurethane-based materials that are recognized for the ways they protect the environment. Since 1966, its manufacturing plant has been the recognized leader in the industry. Ultrafabrics products are used as an upgrade to vinyl (PVC) or as a cost-saving alternative to genuine leather.

The process used to create Ultrafabrics products minimizes effluent, reduces emissions and consumes less energy. With an ISO 9001 certified facility, it conducts extensive research and development programs to adapt its technologies to a host of applications for the transportation, marine, automotive and aviation industries, as well as the contract and residential furniture industries.
